Meet the Team | Sharon Taylor

Sharon started her bookkeeping business in 2007. After completing her Associate Degree in Commerce she became a registered tax agent in 2010 and opened Sharon Taylor Tax & Bookkeeping. The firm works with both Myob & Xero software. Her love of accounting and her profession shines through to her clients as she helps them to achieve their goals. The home based business provides a relaxing environment that clients enjoy attending.

Sharon is a huge animal lover and enjoys spending time with her pets & family and playing in the Queensland Masters Squash Tournaments.

Desley joined the team in 2021 and has Cert IV in Bookkeeping & Accounting and is a registered BAS agent specialising in Xero. She has worked in the accounting industry since she was 16 and brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Desley maintains payroll for some of our clients as well as data entry in both MYOB & Xero. At the end of the quarter Desley prepares BAS and lodges quarterly super guarantee along with assisting with tax return preparation.

The Sunshine Coast has always been Desley’s home and she enjoys spending time with her family & friends.

Margaret joined the team in 2021 and has over 17 years experience as a receptionist/office manager with a firm in Brisbane. Margaret’s role includes attending to the smooth running of the office, liaising with ATO & ASIC and verifying notices of assessment. She is a valuable member of our team and is looking forward to building a good relationship with our clients.

After becoming empty nesters, Margaret & her husband relocated to the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. They look forward to enjoying the Hinterland lifestyle.

Ingrid joined us in 2022 having gained over seven years experience providing taxation and business advisory services in public practice accounting firms on the Sunshine Coast. She thoroughly appreciates the value of sound accounting and financial practices having experienced its value during her career as an accountant, certified bookkeeper and small business owner.

Ingrid enjoys exploring our beautiful sunshine coast environment. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing and mountain bike riding as much as possible.

Ava joined the team in 2022 and bringing with her more than 15 years accountancy experience. Ava completed her Bachelor of Business in 2010 and worked for a Chartered Accountancy firm in Sydney before moving abroad working in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom.

After relocating back to Australia with her young family prior to joining the team, Ava is enjoying exploring the beauty of the Sunshine Coast and making memories with them and proud to call Nambour home.

Jodie joined our team in 2023 and has her Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. Jodie has been doing bookkeeping for the past 3 years and loves it.

Jodie enjoys spending time outdoors which includes going to the gym, running, nature walks and spending time with her two kids, husband and her dog and two cats.

Jessica joined the team in June 2023 and has a Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping. As a registered BAS Agent, she has worked in the bookkeeping industry for 12 years.

Jessica enjoys assisting clients with bookkeeping and payroll needs, as well as preparation of BAS and super guarantee quarterly.

Jessica has enjoyed living on the sunshine coast since 2019 and loves to spend time at the beach with her young family.
